As you drive onto the peaceful farm estate, past the big old Wells barn, the renovated quonset that houses our sanctuary will be straight ahead. Parking is easy to find and once you are in the door, you’ll be greeted by the warm friendly people who are Henrietta Christian Fellowship. We are a church of about 110 people from varied backgrounds and life experiences who gather each week to worship Jesus Christ. Jesus is the One who brought us together and is teaching us how to love Him and one another. There is child care and Children’s Church each week and a ”Tweens” class every other week where the young learn the essentials of the faith.
We begin in prayer followed by a contemporary worship time led by one of our worship teams. We pray for people and their needs; if you raise your hand for prayer, the pastor will ask what you would like prayer for and we will pray together for your request. Pastor Don or one of the other leaders will lead us into God’s Word, the Bible, offering a message of faith and hope that provides a clear path to following Christ as our Savior and the Lord of our lives. After the service, which usually lasts about 90 minutes, there is a time for coffee and snacks. In the nice weather, there is also an outdoor seating and play area. People often stay around for an hour to get to know people better and to encourage each other.
We joyfully embrace our responsibility to present the gospel message of salvation and forgiveness of our past sins. We believe everyone should have multiple opportunities to see and hear the message of God’s love because we desire to see everyone come to faith in Christ.
